Who We Are
Our Story
The Public Safety Communications Association (PSCA) began in 1991 when a group of dedicated 911 dispatchers came together informally across Fresno, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, Kings, and Tulare counties. Their goal was to build peer support, share best practices, and advance dispatcher training across the Central Valley.
Our Mission
The Public Safety Communications Association (PSCA) is dedicated to advancing the professionalism of 911 dispatchers across California's Central Valley through continued training, support, and recognition. We exist to serve and uplift the dispatchers who are the critical first link in emergency response.
